Located deep into the furniture department, past the bedding in Macy’s @ Southland Mall lies Lakeshore Grill. I first heard about this restaurant from my friend, Jessica who took me here for the Maurice Salad. It has since been a favorite of mine and if you’ve never had one, you must. Ma and I decided to treat ourselves. See how they ranked.

French Onion Soup: Rich, caramelized onions topped with croutons and blanketed with melted Swiss cheese. I loved how you had to break through a layer of bubbly cheese to get to the molten hot broth. This soup was delicious and surprisingly filling.
Maurice Salad: Maurice dressing is a mayonnaise based concoction that is addicting. The salad is similar to a chef salad with ham, turkey, and cheese, but the dressing and sweet pickles really takes it over the top. Although for ten dollars and some change, I would’ve liked a little more egg and olives. Just an idea!
Lakeshore Grill is a nice spot for quality grub. The place was dead for a Monday night, only having two other tables while we dined. Service was good, but lacked for how slow it was. I’m also surprised that Lakeshore Grill hasn’t lowered prices in order to bring in more guests. Regardless, stop in and order a Maurice Salad!
