Snooze

Today on the Bite Tonight: Snooze, Denver! The first stop on my Colorado adventures with two of my besties, Michelle and Amanda was to Snooze, an A.M. eatery. With a super friendly and eclectic vibe, Snooze is the place to be for breakfast and lunch. Now, I believe that a long wait just means great food. Snooze even had a 50 min wait on a Friday morning, but it was so worth it! We visited the Colorado Blvd location. See how they ranked. snooze menu Atmosphere: 5 out of 5 bites (never before have I given a perfect score)! Price: 4 out of 5 bites Quality/Taste: 4.5 out of 5 bites Service: 4.5 out of 5 bites Wow Factor: 4 out of 5 bites (eats and creativity) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We started with coffee and mimosa’s Look how cool that cup is, it has a place for your thumb to rest comfortably! ❤ coffee cup Mmmm Mmmm Mimosa: Snooze Sparkling, Orange Juice & Pama Pomegranate Liqueur. Super fresh with a nice balance of sweet and tart. Honestly, a little too dangerous because I ended up drinking two. Hey, at least I loaded up on vitamin C for the day. mimosa My pick Juan’s Breakfast Tacos: Three fresh corn or flour tortillas topped with scrambled eggs, shredded hash browns, jack cheese, green chile hollandaise & pico de gallo. I added turkey sausage and avocado. Now, it was incredibly difficult to choose, because everything on the menu looked so good. When in doubt, go with Mexican! There’s something about having your whole breakfast wrapped up on one vessel that just appeals to me. The creaminess of the avocado and cheese cooled down the spiciness of the green chile and pico. The turkey sausage was a lighter touch, but I think that I would’ve preferred either chorizo or beef barbacoa just to add a little more authenticity to the dish. breakfast tacos2 Amanda’s pick 3 Egg Omelet: Our farm fresh eggs with barbacoa, avocado, and cotija cheese served with hash browns and toast. When Amanda saw this on the menu, it brought her back to the food she grew up with. It was delicious and created the right touch of nostalgia. beef barbacoa omelet Michelle’s pick 3 Egg Omelet: Our farm fresh eggs with chorizo, spinach, roasted garlic, and goat cheese served with hash browns and toast. You haven’t lived until you’ve had huge chunks of roasted garlic in your omelet. The chorizo was salty and went well with the creamy, tangy goat cheese. The hash brown stack was delicious as well, lightly seasoned and crispy. The fresh fruit preserve was delicious and I appreciated the homemade effort that was added. chorizo omellet After all that, we were stuffed! We couldn’t leave without dessert, so we ordered a half order. OMG French Toast: Bread & Cie brioche stuffed with mascarpone then griddled and topped with vanilla crème, salted caramel, fresh strawberries and toasted coconut. O. M. G! I am not a huge sweet in the morning type of gal, but this was amazing! I also don’t like coconut, but I could definitely appreciate it in this french toast. There was this sweet, but light glaze soaked into the toast that was heavenly. The vanilla creme and mascarpone were creamy and really added a nice smooth and silky component to the dish. The fresh strawberries just tied everything else together. french toast2 If you haven’t had a chance to check out Snooze, get your butt in there! Although we had to wait, there was complimentary water and coffee stations as well as corn hole and other games set up to make the time fly by. With options such as Chile Verde Eggs Benedict, a Breakfast Pot Pie, and even a Reuben sammy served on a pretzel roll you are bound to have as much trouble choosing as I did. The good news is that you can choose a half order of any two benny’s and all portions are big enough to share. Snooze opened my eyes to brunch flavors and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Love you girls! ❤ Myself, Michelle, and Amanda. the girls better Snooze Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato
