Fall’s Sports Lounge

Today on the Bite Tonight: Fall’s Lounge

Located right off Outer Dr. and Pelham on Carlysle in Dearborn, MI is Falls Sports Lounge. Falls is a local dive, but a classic. It is a neighborhood favorite and one of those places where the staff knows you by name. For a long time, it was my hangout, but lately it seems I only stop in when Dr. Emily is in town. Falls offers a full bar, menu including daily specials, pool tables, T.V.s, and darts. See how they ranked.

Burger & Fries: Topped with Pepper jack cheese. The fries were my favorite. Super crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The burger had good flavor and was cooked just as requested, medium well. My only hang up was that I asked for a side of ranch dressing and never received it because our server/bartender was too busy to stop over and check on me. I let it slide since there was only one bartender for the whole bar.

Service wasn’t very good, but I don’t blame the servers. Falls is a dive bar after all and the bartenders double as servers and food runners. There is usually only two ladies for the whole place and I’d have to say, they do a pretty good job at keeping up. The menu has all the bar favorites plus daily specials to keep things exciting. I like that the crowd is a mix of everyone including college kids, locals, etc. Falls is a good place to grab a drink and bite and feel at home. Stop in the next time you are in the vicinity.
