Today on the Bite Tonight: Celina’s Sports Bar & Grill
Josh and I took a gamble and stopped in @ Celina’s Sunday for lunch. Located in Madison Heights, this sports bar had new decor, flat screens, and good prices. At first it was pretty dead, but then it started to fill up for the Tigers game. See how they ranked.

We started out with a side of Four Cheese Mac for only $3: Creamy, smooth, and cheesy. Light, yet comforting, this dish reminded me of something my mom would make from scratch. I could really taste the layers of different cheeses.
I went with a “build your own burger” topped with a fried egg, grilled onions, pickles, lettuce, and cheddar cheese. With the toppings the burger came to under $6. The burger itself was exactly what I was craving, perfectly seasoned grilled beef with all the fixings. I liked that the egg yolk didn’t pour all over the place when I bite into the burger. It was just enough of the drippy delicious yolk to enjoy.
You could add a basket of fries for only $1 with any sandwich. I went with thick seasoned steak fries.
Josh went with a Ham & Turkey Club: Three layers of deli style turkey and ham with lettuce, american cheese and mayo. This was a monster of a sandwich. It was so big I couldn’t even take a bite and tried multiple angles before attacking one of the corners. One of the other customers even came over laughing because she was watching my attempt.
Celina’s is a great place to grab lunch or to enjoy the game. The booth’s are roomy and it is family friendly. The food was really good and the prices were even better. The best part of our trip was seeing three deer trotting across 11 Mile Rd in mid afternoon right in front of our car. It was really bizzare, but pretty amazing seeing a part of natural up close and personal. Who knows, maybe when you visit Celina’s you will also see the deer trio.
