Today on the Bite Tonight: Eddie’s Pizza
Located on Ryan Rd, just North of 9 Mile in Warren, MI, is Eddie’s Pizza. Eddie’s is one of those local carry out pizza spots that beats the over rated $5 hot & ready every time. It’s a small place right on a corner, but they are doing pizza right. Lucky for Josh and I, Eddie’s is within 3 blocks from his house. We have been wanting to try them out, so we decided to pick up a pizza. See how they ranked.

Pepperoni & Onion Pizza: with Garlic, Butter, Parmesan crust. The pizza was that perfect combo of crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. The cheese was browned up and bubbly and the onions had a nice char to them. The flavored crust was on point and just as good as Hungry Howie’s.
Service was good and our order was prepared just as we requested it. The inside is pretty small, and there isn’t much seating, but it does its purpose for a carry out pizza joint. Eddie’s offers more than just pizza. Their menu consists of ribs, shrimp & chicken, Stromboli, specialty pizzas, appetizers, salads, sandwiches & grinders, and desserts. Their prices seems to be lower than the more popular Howie’s and Happy’s and the pizza was just as good, if not better. Eddie’s also offers specials and you can score some pretty reasonable deals. The hard part is choosing what to get. Next time, we are going to try a grinder or some of the cheesecake on the menu.
